MEET OUR TEAM

Our Staff

Ashlea, Practice Manager

Ashlea joined Hanover Green in February of 2014.

Prior to joining our team, Ashlea worked in management at Nordstrom for 5 years before taking a break from the crazy retail world and raising her 4 beautiful daughters. While staying at home with them was a much bigger job then she had imagined, she was happy to get back to work, especially within such a fun environment. Outside of work Ashlea enjoys spending time with her husband, their 4 beautiful daughters, three crazy dogs, a spunky kitten and a yard full of chickens.

Chase, Office Manager

Chase has been with Hanover Green since June 1992.

She began as a receptionist, quickly becoming a supervisor and has since advanced to Office Manager. Chase often fills in as a receptionist, and as an Office Manager she fulfills many duties and processes that help us manage our business. Chase is married and has two daughters. She lives in Mechanicsville and has 1 dog, several cats, a rabbit, 2 tortoises and numerous chickens! Chase enjoys gardening and crafts in her spare time.

Soon after, she gained Administrative Assistant responsibilities, and is now the Team Leader for our front desk team. From Cumberland, Maryland, Linda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Saint Francis University. She loves her horses, cooking, spending time with her husband, Rich, friends and family. Additional interests include dressage, gardening, reading and drawing, watching the Food Network or any good comedy on TV. Linda owns and cares for her horse Shawna, her dog Molly, as well as Pixie her cat.

Emily, Licensed Veterinary Technician /Team Leader

Emily has been a part of the Hanover Green family since 2007.

She was initially trained in the kennel and at reception, and then as an assistant. She then graduated from the Blue Ridge Veterinary Technology program in 2017.  She is currently the Team Leader for the medical staff, and has various responsibilities in the office and around the hospital. Her interests include animal behavior and creating a low stress environment for the patients. Outside of work, she may also be found teaching dance classes at a local studio, shooting archery with her dad, or spending time with her husband and their son Barrett.  At home Emily has a dog (Colt), a cat (Rico), and a ball python named Wrangler!

Diane, Customer Service Representative

Diane left her career as a horse trainer in a northwestern suburb of Chicago to move to Mechanicsville in 2007.  She ran her own business, Misty Marsh Farm, where she taught, trained and showed Hunter-Jumpers.  She has a degree from Northeastern Illinois University in management. Diane is now one of our evening Customer Service Representatives. She enjoys horseracing, gardening, travel and the beach.  Diane and her husband take care of their 4 cats and dog, Bindi.

Falon, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Falon has been with HGVC since November of 2007.

She completed the NOVA Veterinary Technology Program in 2019! Falon is our go to girl when it comes to ear cleaning, and she loves to be in the lab. Since school, she has found a new passion for dentistry.  When she is not busy at work, she is busy at home with her husband, 2 sons (Logan & Landon) and their cat Goober! She also enjoys going to concerts and cooking.

Fun Fact: Falon only has 1 kidney!

Leah,  Customer Service Representative

Leah came to Hanover Green in November of 2013 as a Veterinary Assistant.

She quickly learned the ins and outs of the hospital and also became a receptionist within the same year. Leah has a passion for wildlife especially birds of all kinds. She really loves client education, especially when it comes to preventative care! In her spare time she likes to check out the local parks and go swimming in her pool. If she had it her way, she would eat Mexican food 24/7! Leah adopted a retired racing Greyhound from James River Greyhounds, and her name is Isla B. ! She also has 3 cats, Griffen, Shirley and Fitz Mayhew, which she adopted from us.

Cierra, Veterinary Assistant

Cierra joined our Hanover Green team in February of 2014.

She is very passionate about making sure that every patient that comes through the door gets the appropriate amount of treats. If your pet has a lump or bump that needs to be checked, Cierra is sure to find it! She also loves doing nail trims! Her husband and her son Hunter keep her outdoors when she is at home. They spend most days at the baseball field and fishing. She has 2 dogs, Dallas and Anna, and a turtle named Redneck!

When she’s not at work spreading cheer, Chesapeake enjoys singing karaoke, and working out. She is a full time pizza enthusiast!

Pat, Veterinary Assistant

Pat has been with Hanover Green since January of 2007.

Pat has a BS degree in Medical Technology from MCV and worked in human medicine before she came to the veterinary world. We have utilized her skills all over the hospital, but currently she is our surgical recovery nurse. When she isn’t taking care of patients at HGVC, she is with her full house of animals back home! Some of her dogs are certified for therapy visits at hospitals, and a few do agility and barn hunts! On top of it all, she still finds time to spoil her 4 grandchildren (twin boys and 2 girls!).
