Update!
Effective 7/01/2020
As we continue to navigate through the recommended guidelines we are excited to invite you back into our building.
Please understand things will operate differently.
We ask that you please call upon arrival and remain in your vehicle until you have been instructed to come in.
Remember to wear your mask while inside, if you do not have a mask we will have them available for purchase.
At this time, we will only allow one family member in with your pet. Once inside you and your pet will be directed to an exam room where you will remain with your pet until you have been checked out.
While we are excited to invite you to accompany your pet into the building for their appointment,
please understand that you still may not see their doctor face to face.
We will continue to provide curbside service to all of our Technician appointments as well as medicine/food pick up.
e will also continue to check in our surgeries, drop offs and boarders outside.
Our goal is to minimize time in our lobby as our space does not meet the 6ft distancing currently recommended.
Please remember that all of this is new to us as well.
We are doing our absolute best to insure our staff and clients remain safe.
We thank you for your understanding and your help keeping our community as safe as possible.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Our Response to COVID-19, Effective 3/19/20
At Hanover Green we are continuing to strive to stay operational and provide the best care possible for your pets.
With that said, we must keep the health and safety of our clients and staff members top priority.
We are currently still open for our usual hours (7:30-7pm weekdays, and 8:30-1pm Saturday), but we will be implementing adjustments to our office visits, drop offs and surgeries in order to reduce the risk of transmission of illnesses.
When you arrive to the clinic, you MUST remain in your vehicle.
Please call the clinic (804-730-2565) to alert us of your arrival. We will send a staff member out to greet you, discuss the reason for your visit, and the HGVC staff member will bring your pet in to see the doctor.
Depending on the situation, a doctor will contact you either by phone or by coming out to your car to discuss your pets health. After the visit, your pet will be returned to you by a HGVC staff member.
Payment will be taken by credit card over the phone.
Clients who require medication or food pick up will be addressed in a similar fashion. Please call the clinic to let us know how we can help you, and we will bring your items out to you. Payment will be taken by credit card over the phone.
In addition, we will have limited boarding availability. If you need boarding for medical reasons or family emergencies, please call to discuss your situation. We are happy to help if we can.
We thank you for your understanding and your help keeping our community as safe as possible.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
